This came out of a collection of a former Japanese Takara employee. Included in this collection were a number of test shots and prototypes, as well as these figures. While there is no strict documentation on how many of these were made, it is known that such custom figures were created to give as gifts to Takara employees. These are different than the Lunchtime specials that came out of China in the early 2000s. These were never transformed, as far as I know.
